Kurdish Team Signs International Player

For 1 month ago Dalkurd signs the Bosnian international player Nedim Halilovic. This player has appeared in 16 international games with the Bosnian-Hezegovina national team. He has played alongside players such as Salihamidzic (Bayern Munich now in Juventus) and Sergej Barbarez (Hamburg). It’s a technical fast player who understands the game in a great way. The player has along list of merits. Among them he brought back the Orebro side back to the Swedish premier league, and has besides Sweden played pro in both Croatia and Albania. He has been mentioned several times as a top ten player in the Croatian league. With this catch Dalkurd will be the favorite to win the Swedish second division as planed for by the management of the Team.

Swedish Cup

Each year (since the new rules with fewer teams began), 98 teams compete, comprising the 14 teams from Allsvenskan (the All Swedish League - first level of Swedish football) and the 16 teams of Superettan (the Super Division 1 - second level of Swedish football) together with 68 teams from lower (district) series.

The winners qualify for the UEFA Cup.

It is second time that Dalkurd play in Swedish football Cup!

In this blog i will written about Dalkurd FF, the best Kurdish team outside Kurdistan!
Dalkurd was created 4 years ago (2004) by the Kurdish community in the city of Borlänge in Sweden. Since then it has won every series it has participated in and will play in the second division next year (2009). The news of Dalkurd is another great achievement of the Kurdish community in Sweden.

2005 they start to play in division 6 and every year they have win there division!!
2006 they win division 5!
2007 they win division 4!
2008 they win division 3!
And now 2009 they will play in division 2!

Among its merits Dalkurd has broken the all time Swedish goal record when scoring 126 goals in one season last year. This year Dalkurd has according to the major Swedish news paper Dagens Nyheter the best score sheet of all the teams in Sweden including the Swedish premier league teams. That is because Dalkurd won 20 out of 21 games in the Swedish third division.
